Big Time Rush Headlining Lizard Fair At Midland's Dow Diamond

When Big Time Rush was mentioned as a possibility for this year’s WIOG Lizard Fair, organizers were split on bringing in Nickelodeon’s boy band, admitted Rachel Geddes, the radio station’s promotions manager.
“Half of us realized its potential and the other half, we were skeptical,” she said. “But when we saw these little kids camped out for two days, waiting for tickets to go on sale, we were believers.”

And when Big Time Rush erupted big time, “we started ordering more of our Lizard Fair T-shirts in kid sizes,” she added, laughing. Of course, as always, there’s a lot more happening Sunday at Midland’s Dow Diamond, with BTR sharing space on the tee with Flo Rida, Jay Sean and Runner Runner.
